Pediatric Orthopedic Associates of San Antonio (POASA) is a group of physicians, board certified and fellowship trained in pediatric orthopedic surgery. Pediatric Orthopedics is the care of injuries and deformities in children. The word, orthopedics, is of Greek derivation and means "straight child". Orthopedics is the medical and surgical specialty dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system.

Our doctors and staff are dedicated to providing quality healthcare to all children from newborn to 18 years of age. Common conditions we treat include broken bones, sports injuries, congenital disorders (such as club feet or dislocated hips), and disorders of the spine (such as scoliosis).

We respectfully request that the parent or legal guardian accompany each patient coming in for an appointment. We will also require a valid picture identification of parent or guardian and a current insurance card at the time of service.
